One of the biggest mistakes new MLMers make is that they look at everyone as a potential customer. Like any other business, you're going to have greater success and efficiency if you identify your target markets wisely and focus your marketing efforts on them. So, although it’s necessary to make a list, not everybody is a qualified prospect! Come to think of it, why would the word “prospecting” even exist if everybody was a candidate? Prospecting, in our definition, is the process of getting leads and exploring them through our methods to find those who are qualified for your business and are real potential customers.
